  Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc – An independent, private, not-for-profit corporation established in 1986. The North Carolina Association for Home Care created the program in response to provider concerns for quality in-home aide services and the desire for an alternative program.

Alliance for Health Reform – A non-profit group that provides a guide to health policy issues.

American Health Quality Association – A charitable, educational, not-for-profit national membership association dedicated to health care quality through community-based, independent quality evaluation, and improvement programs.

Families USA – A national nonprofit, non-partisan organization that seeks affordable and high-quality health care for all Americans.  

National Committee for Quality Assurance – The premier source for information about the quality of the nation’s managed care plans.

Senior Action Network – A grass-roots advocacy organization devoted to issues which affect senior communities with the mission to organize and empower seniors to influence public policy.
